Providing homes, and inspiring hope
About us
Many Mansions is a non-profit organization that provides well-managed, service-enriched, affordable housing to low-income residents of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, with a special focus on those of very low-income, who are formerly homeless, seniors, veterans, or disabled. We own and manage over 600 units of affordable housing, serve approximately 1,300 adults and 300 children, provide on-site services and programs that include job training, case management, homework tutoring, supplemental food distributions, college scholarships, and much more. By providing decent housing and life-enriching services to those most in need, we aspire to help individuals and families aim to improve their lives and remove the barriers that prevent low-income members of our community from having a basic need met—a place to call home.

Chamber President/CEO Danielle proudly announced Many Mansions as the Nonprofit of the Year during a "surprise presentation" at their annual Bowls of Hope event. Many Mansion serves over 1,500 of the most vulnerable members of our community. Residents include families of very low-income, seniors, veterans, disabled individuals, and those who were homeless. Their mission is to provide homes and inspire hope through quality housing, services, and education. They will also be the lead organization in the development and operation of the Thousand Oaks Navigation Center that will provide 30 modular units of interim housing scheduled to break ground in April. Sevet Johnson thank you for attending our 20th Annual Bowls of Hope and for volunteering as an honorary soup server. We are deeply grateful for your continued support and for the County's partnership. Next celebrations: The Thousand Oaks Navigation Center's groundbreaking and Central Terrace's grand opening!
Spent the morning serving soup at the Many Mansions 20th Annual Bowls of Hope event. It was a packed house with so many showing up to invest in the permanent supportive housing services they provide. Additionally in the next few years they look to double the number of people they house and serve. Appreciate the work they do to assist the unhoused or those at risk of being unhoused in our County through both housing 🏘️🏡and services 🏥. #housing #affordablehousing

Take a look at the progress of Central Terrace! Our first five story building located in Downtown Oxnard.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Building is coming along at Central Terrace! Housing Trust Fund Ventura County provided a $1,000,000 pre-construction loan to Many Mansions in January of 2020. Located adjacent to the proposed Aspire Apartments in Downtown Oxnard, this complex features 86 residences for low-, very low-, and extremely low-income members of our community, including 35 apartments for homeless and/or disabled individuals. Amenities include a community room with kitchenette and offices to support social services, as well as an interior courtyard with picnic areas. #CentralTerrace #Oxnard #AffordableHousing #ConstructionUpdate

On #MLKDay, volunteers from Kaiser Permanente Southern California joined us at Many Mansions' Hacienda de Feliz for a site beautification project. We appreciated Kaiser Permanente's Southern California and Hawaii Regional President, Michelle Gaskill-Hames, joining the crew! Volunteers spent time learning about affordable housing before starting the painting project. We emphasized how important it is for residents to be able to take pride in where they live. Making each Many Mansions site as well maintained and beautiful as possible is one of the ways to achieve that. We appreciate Kaiser Permanente's services and contributions to our community!

We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully moved in 14 families to their new homes at Sun King Apartments. More families will follow in the coming weeks, and we couldn't be more excited for them. Our Housing Development and Property Management staff played an instrumental role in completing the construction phase of the permanent supportive housing complex, collaborating with various agencies to overcome every challenge to provide a roof over the heads of these families, just in time for the new year. Sun King was developed by Many Mansions to offer 25 apartment homes for homeless and chronically homeless households. Families all have school-age children, and on move in day, the building was filled with sounds of children laughing and playing, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Thank you to those that made Sun King possible: Merritt Community Capital Corporation, First Citizens Bank, Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD), #TheCaliforniaTaxCreditAllocationCommittee, #TheCaliforniaDebtLimitsAllocationCommittee, HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES, California Department of Housing & Community Development, Lorcan O'Herlihy Architects [LOHA], and Walton Construction, Inc.
